Eliminating violence against women and girls
Violence against women is a gross human rights violation that affects 1 in 3 women worldwide. In Nigeria, approximately 6 out of every 10 children under the age of 18 years experience some form of physical, emotional, and sexual violence before the age of 18 years. It is critical to creating a future in which all members of Nigerian society enjoy equal rights to safety, dignity and freedom.
