Baobab for Women’s Human Rights with its vision to make the rights of women and girls become an integral part of everyday life understands that there are a lot of challenges faced by women in the world of work. Workplace gender discrimination by which women are treated differently because of their sex and gender, Sexual harassment, assaults and harassment and many more are many forms of women's rights violation at the workplace.

BAOBAB for Women’s Human Rights with this thematic area works to address all forms of challenges faced by women in formal institutions, informal institutions, and educational institutions and ensure that all women have access to a workplace free from gender discrimination, including sexual harassment of all forms, discrimination based on sex stereotypes, pregnancy, and parenting; discrimination in the form of barriers to work in certain roles from which women have traditionally been excluded; and undervaluing of work  performed by women.
