Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant/Driver will provide administrative support and provide reliable and safe driving services to Baobab’s team. The position also involves assisting with coordinating events and programs that are related to the organization’s activities.


  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.

  • Assist with document retention, including scanning and the organization of physical and electronic documents.

  • Support the accounting team in the timely and accurate recording of journal entries.

  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.

  • Maintain fixed asset register and inventories.

  • Assist with the internal correspondence such as office orders, minutes of meetings, memos etc.

  • Operate office equipment such as computers, fax machines, typewriters, telephone exchange etc., efficiently.


  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Administrative related course.

  • Minimum of one-year relevant administrative experience with a minimum of one-year safe driving experience/record

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of the internet and good general computer skills.

  • Good computer skills in common word processing (MS Word) and spreadsheet (MS Excel)

  • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks, work to strict deadlines.

  • Team player and self-starter.

  • Flexible and able to embrace change positively.

  • High sense of confidentiality.
